Ari Pooladian - Week 3 Homework

Roxanne Brie - Homework - Week 3

 Sorry I wasn't there last week, I

got really sick. I watched last week's lesson and took your advice, I made my creature to be able to be on ground and to be aquatic as well and I also refined his facial features. Thank you for the feed back!

Daniel Jakobi - Week 3 Homework

 Week 3:

Zachary Cretegny - Week 3

Herbivore - Eats roots and large underground nuts (uses its horn to dig into the earth)

Fights for dominance amongst its kind with horns/tusks. The larger the tusks, the more desirable the male.

Thick fat deposits on back for long journeys without food, they also help protect their backs from predators.

12' tall to the shoulder.

Karla Martinez - Week 3

Christopher Buesch - Week 3

Hi, can´t attend class because of work :/
This week I really struggled with the 3/4 and front view. I would love some more advice on it.
To me the positioning of the legs and the head in the 3/4 view looks really off.
Thanks a lot for the great feedback, really enjoying this class :)

Allen Yu - Week 3 Homework

Decided to go for the vulture/tusk creature. I had trouble balancing the realistic size of the wings and fitting the creature in a single page. I think for the front/back view the wings are a bit smaller than the side view - not too familiar to the perspective of the wings in those angles

Update on zoo request

Hello class! I asked and unfortunately, a zoo trip for Friday's class cannot happen with everything being virtual now. This is due to the class being advertised as a 30 hour class and with it being online, those hours must be logged virtually. See you in class on Friday!

Matthew Komar - Week 2

Karissa Martinez - Week 2 HW

I have been honing in on some sketches from the first week. I took your advice on focusing on the sketch that the class seemed to like (I liked it too, it was number 7) and expand on it more. Having done more research. I analyzed lots of herbivores have protective sets like agility, horns, maybe some are quiet etc.

The only thing I would need a smidge more help on is to choose a design that fits this creature, I know that for one I have been focusing on number 4, which shares a similar design to that of number 7 from last week.

Em Stotts Week 2

I got a bad cold last week, and then got bronchitis because of it, so I combined the week one and two homework assignments.

Genre: Sci-Fi Horror

Habitat: Damp, dark places

Diet: Omnivore(anything living or organic)

Created due to human gene splicing. Consumes organic matter to regenerate and/or grow. Extreme metabolism so it must consume large amounts to grow. Asexual reproduction through a series of mitosis. Blind. Hyper sensitive to sound and smell. Only requires a mouth and a stomach to stay alive; can regenerate all other limbs and organs. Stomach contains acids that can dissolve practically anything. Can vomit up acids to dissolve live prey. Cannot digest inorganic matter. Weak to high temperatures and fire. Can adapt to its environment. Intelligent enough not to be hurt by the same thing twice.

Gwinny Mulders - Week 2 Homework

Amos Cerruto - Week 2

Matteo Pejrolo - Week 02 - Homework

Hi! I revisited the 25 thumbnails based on last class feedback (more exaggerated forms and ideas, not just amphibians mixed together, more ethereal) and then picked 3 from them.

Concept: Little ethereal amphibian, it travels through ethereal and physical world, subject of myths and legends, it represents luck and positive energy.
